Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo fue identificar las especies de Meloidogyne que afectan Capsicum_x000D_
sp. en Santa, Ancash, realizando el estudio del patrón perineal de hembras maduras de_x000D_
Meloidogyne presentes en las raíces muestreadas. El género Meloidogyne, denominado_x000D_
nematodo del nódulo de la raíz, se caracteriza por constituir un grupo de fitoparásitos_x000D_
polífagos económicamente importante, altamente adaptado y con amplia distribución en todo_x000D_
el mundo. En la actualidad hay escasos estudios de investigación para la identificación y_x000D_
caracterización de Meloidogyne en Capsicum sp., por lo que, existe desconocimiento en este_x000D_
rubro y es una limitante para el planteo de estrategias más adecuadas en el manejo de este_x000D_
fitoparasito. Al concluir la investigación se determinó que los patrones perineales extraídos_x000D_
pertenecían a la especie Meloidogyne incognita, algunas de las cuales presentaron_x000D_
variaciones intraespecíficas.
Description
The objective of this work was to identify the species of Meloidogyne that affect Capsicum_x000D_
sp. in Santa, Ancash, carrying out the study of perineal pattern of mature Meloidogyne_x000D_
females present in the sampled roots. The genus Meloidogyne, root nodule nematode, is_x000D_
characterized by constituting a group of economically important polyphagous phytoparasites,_x000D_
highly adapted and widely distributed worldwide. Currently there are few research_x000D_
studies for the identification and characterization of Meloidogyne in Capsicum sp.,_x000D_
therefore, there is a lack of knowledge in this area and it is a limitation for the development_x000D_
of more appropriate strategies in the management of this plant parasite. At the conclusion of_x000D_
the investigation, it was determined that the extracted perineal patterns belonged to the_x000D_
Meloidogyne incognita species, some of which presented intraspecific variations.
