Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo, determinar el error gravimétrico de preparados parenterales elaborados en el servicio de USMEN del Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray, durante el periodo junio-julio del 2018. Se analizó un total de 126 muestras de las cuales, 62 fueron 2:1 y 64, 3:1. El método consistió en medir la densidad, el volumen y peso final de los preparados parenterales, así como también la densidad de cada insumo empleado. Para el cálculo del error gravimétrico se empleó la siguiente ecuación:[(w practico-w teórico) x100]/w teórico. Los resultados fueron: 7de los preparados 2:1 y 8 de 3:1, superan el valor máximo permitido de error gravimétrico. Del análisis de los resultados se concluye que: el 11% y 13% de los preparados 2:1 y 3:1 respectivamente, tienen un error gravimétrico que supera el 5% según lo estipulado por la Agencia Europea del Medicamento y la Farmacopea de los Estados Unidos

The objective of this research was to determine the gravimetric error of parenteral preparations prepared in the USMEN service of the Víctor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital, during the period June-July 2018. A total of 126 samples were analyzed, of which 62 were 2: 1 and 64, 3: 1. The method consisted of measuring the density, volume and final weight of the parenteral preparations, as well as the density of each input used. For the calculation of the gravimetric error the following equation was used: [(w practical-theoretical w) x100] / theoretical w. The results were: 7 of the preparations 2: 1 and 8 of 3: 1, exceed the maximum allowed value of gravimetric error. From the analysis of the results it is concluded that: 11% and 13% of the preparations 2: 1 and 3: 1 respectively, have a gravimetric error that exceeds 5% as stipulated by the European Medicines Agency and the Pharmacopoeia of the U.S.
