Prácticas culturales ambientales de los gremios de surf y su influencia en la disminución de la contaminación marina en Huanchaco

Abstract
La presente investigación se realizó en el balneario de Huanchaco en la provincia de Trujillo, conocido por su turismo, su playa, su surf, e históricamente reconocido por el tan majestuoso caballito de totora, técnica ancestral de pesca; tomando como referencia los años 2018 y 2019 y teniendo como finalidad, conocer la cultura ambiental de los surfistas del balneario reflejada en sus buenas prácticas culturales ambientales que realizan a favor del medioambiente y de la disminución de la contaminación del mar y la playa.
Este trabajo incursiona en el tema de la antropología ambiental, buscando la unión entre el hombre
y la naturaleza a través de una cultura ambiental. Trabajando, con los surfistas y los diversos gremios de surf, o escuelas de surf de Huanchaco, el tema cultural y social para dar solución a la problemática ambiental; estudiando las prácticas culturales ambientales tales como las campañas de
limpieza de playa, las capacitaciones realizadas por los diversos gremios de surf con los niños de
escasos recursos, con los cuales trabajan para fomentar en ellos el deporte ancestral de Huanchaco
y los valores éticos y morales para con el medioambiente.
El surf es la mejor muestra de una cultura ambiental, de una conexión entre hombre y medioambiente, y es que los surfistas a través de la historia, desde los pioneros en Hawaii o los ancestrales Moches con sus caballitos de totora, han mantenido un sentimiento, un respeto y un amor por el mar; protegiéndolo, cuidándolo, a través de sus costumbres, sus tradiciones, lo que ahora podríamos considerar una cultura ambiental.

The present investigation was carried out in the resort of Huanchaco in the province of Trujillo,
known for its tourism, its beach, its surfing, and historically recognized for the majestic horse of
totora, ancestral fishing technique; taking as reference the years 2018 and 2019 and having as its
purpose, to know the environmental culture of the surfers of the spa reflected in their good environmental cultural practices that they carry out in favor of the environment and the reduction of pollution of the sea and the beach.
This work ventures into the theme of environmental anthropology, seeking the union between man
and nature through an environmental culture. Working, with surfers and the various surf guilds, or
surf schools of Huanchaco, the cultural and social issue to solve the environmental problem; studying
environmental cultural practices such as beach cleaning campaigns, training conducted by the
various surf guilds with low-income children, with whom they work to foster in them the ancestral
sport of Huanchaco and ethical and moral values for with the environment.
Surfing is the best example of an environmental culture, of a connection between man and the environment, and that is that surfers throughout history, from the pioneers in Hawaii or the ancient Moches with their totora horses, have maintained a feeling, a respect and a love for the sea; protecting it, taking care of it, through its customs, its traditions, what we could now consider an environmental culture.
