Abstract
El presente estudio, tuvo como objetivo determinar el efecto de la intensidad de luz en galpón abierto y semioscuro para pollas ponedoras de huevo comercial desde la quinta hasta la semana veinte de edad, sobre sus parámetros productivos.
Para la evaluación tanto en campo como para el análisis estadístico se trabajo con una muestra de 180 pollas ponedoras por tratamiento. Se utilizó un diseño completamente al azar con 2 tratamientos. Las variables evaluadas fueron; peso promedio, uniformidad, consumo de alimento, mortalidad, producción de huevos y relación beneficio/costo.
Los pesos promedios en la semana 20, fueron 1600g para T_1 Y 1586,8g para T_0, estos pesos fueron menores al peso estándar (1610 g.). El consumo total de alimento fue 1071,5g/ave para T_1 y 1048,2g/ave para T_0 , estos fueron superiores al consumo estándar (1047g/ave).
La mortalidad semanal acumulada fue 0,85% para T_1 y 0,95% para T_0, estos porcentajes fueron mayores al porcentaje de mortalidad estándar (0,19%). La relación beneficio/costo fue de $ 1,148 para T_1 y de $ 1,065 para T_0.
Los porcentajes de postura en la semana 20 fueron 7,47% para T_1 y 3,56% para T_0 ambos tratamientos, fueron menores al porcentaje de postura estándar (26%).
Las pollas ponedoras alojadas en el galpón semioscuro presentaron mejores parámetros productivos que las alojadas en el galpón abierto, pero no presentaron diferencia estadística significativa (P < 0,05), en ninguna variable en estudio.
Description
The present study aimed to determine the effect of the light intensity in open and semidark shed to commercial egg-laying pullets from the fifth to twenty weeks old, on their productive parameters.
For the evaluation in the field and for statistical analysis with a sample of 180 pullets per treatment. We used a completely randomized design with 2 treatments. Variables evaluated were; average weight, uniformity, feed consumption, mortality, egg production and benefit / cost.
The average weights at week 20 were 1600g and 1586.8g for T1 to T0, these weights were less than the standard weight (1610g). The total food consumption was 1071.5g / bird for T1 and 1048.2 g / bird for T0, these were higher than the standard consumption (1047g / ave). The weekly mortality rate was 0.85% for T1 and 0.95% for T0, these figures were higher than standard mortality rate (0.19%). The benefit/cost was $ 1,148 for T1 and from T0 to $ 1,065. The percentages of position in week 20 were 7.47% to 3.56% for T1 and T0 both treatments were lower than the standard rate of position (26%).
The egg laying housed in the semidark shed presented better productive parameters that the housed in opened shed, but without statistical significant difference (P <0.05), in any variable studied.
