Abstract
The present research study is quantitative, cross-sectional, and correlational in nature, and non-experimental. Its purpose was to verify the association between the level of academic stress and the quality of life among nursing students at the National University of Trujillo. Two instruments were used to collect data: the SISCO SV Academic Stress Questionnaire by Barraza (2018) and the Mezzich and Colb Quality of Life Index Questionnaire (2000). To establish the relationship between variables, the Chi-square test of independence was employed, with a significance level of 5%, and Pearson correlation was used to identify the relationship between variables. It was found that 58.6% of nursing interns at UNT experience high levels of academic stress, and 70.0% of nursing interns at UNT report having a regular level of quality of life. However, no statistically significant relationship was found between the two variables in the study
