Abstract
The Peruvian nation, due to the geographical characteristics of its territory, its condition as a country influenced by the Andes Mountains, as well as the type of development promoted by its citizens in various parts of the Peruvian territory, has generated conditions of high levels of vulnerability in society and its environment. In this sense, our country is the scene of frequent natural phenomena and disasters generated by various dangers, such as: seismic movements, tsunamis, huaycos, floods, among a variety more, which respond to its territorial and social plurality. The reality posed encourages the Peruvian population to become aware of the levels of threat, vulnerability and risk (components of a natural disaster) to which a society is exposed and, therefore, to the signaling of risks in those geographical areas exposed to natural phenomena and therefore exposed to a disaster. The misfortunes caused by disasters in the Peruvian territory can be avoided or mitigated with better prevention measures, and above all with education, that is the role played by the members of educational institutions. Faced with this inevitable reality, the Peruvian technique has to be perfected to plan and amortize the effect of a natural phenomenon on society.
