El estudio de la investigación presentada, se inició con la recolección de la información mediante el análisis de documentación facilitada mediante el acceso público del mismo, como también de documentación brindada por la entidad; posteriormente se procedió a recolectar información mediante la aplicación de instrumentos como entrevista a los actores involucrados durante la gestión en turno, y una encuesta a la población de la provincia de Trujillo la cual anterior a su aplicación se realizó el análisis para determinar cuál sería la muestra que serviría para su estudio. Finalmente, se dio paso al procesamiento de los datos para poder determinar cuál fue el verdadero impacto que tuvo la crisis sanitaria en la gobernanza de la Municipalidad Provincial de Tujillo. Metodológicamente, se propuso un enfoque mixto en cual permitió el análisis de los datos para poder alcanzar el objetivo de la investigaciónABSTRAC The present research is a mixed study which includes a qualitative - quantitative methodology, which aims to find the impact of the health crisis that occurred in 2020, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on the governance of the Provincial Municipality of Trujillo.
