Para lo cual se utilizaron registros productivos y de genealogía de 2073 animales entre hembras y machos. Se efectuó la evaluación genética mediante un modelo animal con medidas repetidas para los caracteres media de diámetro de fibra (MDF), desviación estándar de la MDF (DSMDF), factor de confort (FC) y coeficientes de variación de la MDF (CVMDF). Se evaluaron los valores genéticos para todos los animales del CIDCS - Lachocc utilizando el modelo mencionado a través del programa PEST. Por otro lado, también se estimaron la heredabilidad y repetibilidad para los mencionados caracteres, teniendo como base el procedimiento de máxima verosimilitud restringida, mediante el programa VCE. Se encontraron valores de cría negativos en gran porcentaje para MDF, SD, CV y positivos para FC. El índice de herencia y repetibilidad estimado para MDF, DSMDF, FC y CVMDF fueron: 0.52 ,0.57 ,0.36, 0.35 y 0.70, 0.59, 0.73, 0.46 respectivamente. Se concluye que las alpacas Huacaya del CIDCS – Lachocc de la Universidad Nacional de Huancavelica, presentan valores y parámetros genéticos elevados en los caracteres de importancia productiva.ABSTRACT The objective of the study was to carry out the genetic evaluation of the main textile characteristics in Huacaya alpacas of the Center for Research and Development of South American Camelids (CIDCS) - Lachocc of the National University of Huancavelica, said research was carried out in the Huancavelica region located at 4100 - 5303 masl for which productive and genealogy records of 2073 animals between females and males were used. Genetic evaluation was carried out using an animal model with repeated measures for the characters mean fiber diameter (MDF), standard deviation of MDF (DSMDF), comfort factor (CF) and coefficients of variation of MDF (CVMDF). The genetic values for all the CIDCS - Lachocc animals were evaluated using the mentioned model through the PEST program. On the other hand, the heritability and repeatability for the aforementioned traits were also estimated, based on the restricted maximum likelihood procedure, using the VCE program. Negative rearing values were found in a large percentage for MDF, SD, CV and positive for FC. The inheritance and repeatability index estimated for MDF, DSMDF, FC and CVMDF were: 0.52, 0.57, 0.36, 0.35 and 0.70, 0.59, 0.73, 0.46 respectively.
