Biloxi en Trujillo, La Libertad. Los tratamientos a evaluar fueron: t0, testigo; t1, 105 Kg/ surco; t2, 175 Kg/ surco; t3, 245 Kg/ surco; t4, 280 Kg/ surco y t5, 350 Kg/ surco. Los parámetros de evaluación fueron: profundidad y crecimiento lateral de raíces, numero de brotes, longitud de brotes, numero de tallos diferenciados y altura de planta. Las evaluaciones se realizaron cada 13 – 15 días, iniciándose 21 días después del trasplante hasta 149 días después. Para el análisis de datos se empleó la prueba de “t” simple para realizar la comparación de los promedios entre los diferentes tratamientos. La evaluación estadística fue en base al análisis de varianza al 95% de confiabilidad. Los resultados muestran que el tratamiento 5, de 350 kg/surco obtuvo mayor crecimiento en los siguientes parámetros: profundidad de raíces con 33.1 cm, 70 cm de crecimiento lateral de raíces a los 149 días después del trasplante; y un promedio de 13.5 brotes por planta a los 21 días después del trasplante. El número de tallos diferenciados en este tratamiento alcanza los 4.7 a los 149 días después del trasplante. La longitud de brotes y la altura de planta a los 149 días después del trasplante aun no muestran una diferencia significativa entre los promedios de los tratamientos t4 y t5.ABSTRACT The objective of this research work was to determine the effect of different doses of thick blond peat that confers the highest growth of Vaccinium corymbosum L. var. Biloxi in Trujillo, La Libertad. The treatments to be evaluated were: t0, control; t1, 3 kg / furrow; t2, 5 kg/ furrow; t3, 7 kg/ furrow; t4, 8 kg / furrow and t5, 10 kg/ furrow. The parameters of evaluation were: depth and lateral growth of roots, number of buds, length of shoots, number of different stems and height of plant. The evaluations were made every 13 - 15 days, starting 21 days after the transplant until 149 days later. For the data analysis, the simple "t" test was used to compare the averages between the different treatments. The statistical evaluation was based on the 95% variance analysis of reliability. The results show that treatment 5, of 350 kg / furrow obtained greater growth in the following parameters: depth of roots with 33.1 cm, 70 cm of lateral growth of roots at 149 days after transplantation; and an average of 13.5 shoots per plant at 21 days after the transplant. The number of stems differentiated in this treatment reaches 4.7 to 149 days after the transplant.
