Then the need arises to know the context of their development and to face this question in order to give an adequate and real answer that can be understood by our students. The Science and Environment area is the fundamental tool that the teacher uses to explain these situations and does so through research and experimentation. The latter becomes the primary learning tool because when working with reality the child understands and learns quickly. The concepts of matter, space and location are for daily use, children face them at all times and, through practical application, discover new experiences, easily acquire them and adapt them to each moment of their daily life. It is important to understand that the capacities that are put into practice facilitate the integral development of children and their adaptation to the environment where they develop.En la vida diaria, nuestros niños conocen diversas situaciones de ubicación, espacio, forma y otras, que les llevan a formular determinadas interrogantes, entre las cuáles se puede mencionar ¿por qué cada cuerpo ocupa un lugar en el espacio? Surge entonces la necesidad de conocer el contexto de su desarrollo y hacer frente a esta interrogante para dar una respuesta adecuada y real que pueda ser entendida por nuestros estudiantes. El área de Ciencia y Ambiente es la herramienta fundamental que utiliza el docente para explicar estas situaciones y lo hace a través de la investigación y de la experimentación. Esta última se transforma en la herramienta primordial de aprendizaje porque al trabajar con la realidad el niño entiende y aprende rápidamente. Los conceptos de materia, espacio y ubicación son de uso diario, en todo momento los niños hacen se enfrentan a ellos y, a través de la aplicación práctica, descubren experiencias nuevas, las adquieren fácilmente y las adaptan a cada momento de su vida diaria.
