The investigation has been made with the preliminary fitoquímica march of the Dra. Olga Lock, being used a dry and ground sample of the plant in study, which was used reliable of increasing polarity, taking place later the qualitative determination of the fitoconstituyentes by means of the coloration reactions and precipitation, obtaining itself therefore the following fitoconstituyentes: Steroids, tannins, flavonoides, leucoantocianidinas and saponinasEl presente trabajo de investigación de tipo descriptivo, se realizó en el laboratorio de Farmacognosia, en la facultad de Farmacia y Bioquímica de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo – La Libertad, durante los meses de Diciembre del 2006 – Marzo del 2007, con el propósito de identificar los fitoconstituyentes en las hojas y tallos de Eupathorium triplinerve “Asmachilca”. La investigación se ha realizado con la marcha fitoquímica preliminar de la Dra.
