The results indicate that the service of Medicine is the largest consumer of ceftriaxone 1 g expressed DDD/100 beds in the day, had during the years 2006 and 2007, can also be observed that there was a lower consumption of ceftriaxone 1 g during the year 2007 in comparison with the year 2006. By making use of the graphical trend of consumption shows that the services of Medicine, Surgery, NICU are the biggest trend of consumption of ceftriaxone have in the future. When explained in graphic consumption of ceftriaxone 1 g (expressed in DDD/100 day) month by month, the UCI is the service of the highest consumption of ceftriaxone 1g during the month of September. And as the final links to obtain the annual expenditure of ceftriaxone 1 g, being the service of medicine which increased spending generously in the purchase of antibacterial Hospital Lazarte Victor Echegaray. You can also reveal what is the trend of annual expenditure on the purchase of antibacterials for the institution, with its tendency to decline in consumption in the different servicesEl presente estudio es de tipo descriptivo, retrospectivo de corte transversal cuyo objetivo fue determinar el perfil de consumo de CEFTRIAXONA 1g durante los años 2006 y 2007 en el Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray. Los resultados nos indican que el servicio de Medicina es el que más consumo de Ceftriaxona 1 g expresado en DDD/100 camas día, tuvo durante los años 2006 y 2007, también se puede observar que hubo un menor consumo de Ceftriaxona 1 g durante el año 2007 en comparación con el año 2006. Al hacer uso de la gráfica de tendencia de consumo se puede observar que los servicios de Medicina, Cirugía, UCIN son los que mayor tendencia de consumo de ceftriaxona tienen en el futuro. Cuando se explica en gráficos el consumo de ceftriaxona 1 g (expresado en DDD/100 día) mes por mes el servicio de UCI es el de mayor consumo de ceftriaxona 1g durante el mes de septiembre. Y como enlace final se puede obtener el gasto anual de ceftriaxona 1 g , siendo el servicio de medicina el que mayor gasto genero en la compra de antibacterianos al Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray.
