It is concluded that the strengthening of stock management for the personnel responsible for the MINSA pharmacy services in Bolívar and Pataz, have a positive influence on the availability of medicines, thus improving access to medicines.RESUMEN La presente investigación tuvo como propósito evaluar la influencia del fortalecimiento en Gestión de stock a los responsables de los servicios de Farmacia, en el acceso a medicamentos en los servicios de farmacia de las redes Bolívar y Pataz del MINSA, de la Gerencia Regional de Salud la Libertad, año 2014, tuvo un diseño cuasi experimental no controlado, la población de estudio estuvo conformada por el personal responsable de 35 servicios de farmacia del primer nivel de atención de las redes Bolívar y Pataz, el estudio se desarrolló en tres fases (diagnóstico situacional; elaboración y aplicación del programa educativo; y evaluación de los indicadores de gestión de stock antes y después) donde se obtuvo como resultado la disminución de los porcentajes de medicamentos en situación de sub stock, desabastecimiento, sin rotación en un 8.5%, 6.6%, 5.3% respectivamente, y el aumento del porcentaje de stock óptimo en 11.7%, y del indicador de disponibilidad, en 10% pasando de nivel bajo a nivel regular de disponibilidad de medicamentos.
