The respective problem was: To what extent does the tax culture affect the collection of property tax, in the Sánchez Carrión Provincial Municipality, years 2015 – 2019? The research design used was non-experimental, with a descriptive causal correlational cross-sectional design. The population was of 16446 taxpayers, whose sample was 375 taxpayers, to whom the survey technique was applied, whose instrument was the questionnaire; documentary analysis was also used. As main results, it was found that the level of tax culture of the taxpayers is low and very low, and the levels of tax collection are between regular and low. Concluding that the tax culture has a significant impact on the collection of property tax in the municipality under study, given that the correlation coefficient was 0.755 and the level of significance was 0.00, therefore, there is a positive and significant relationship.La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general, determinar en qué medida la cultura tributaria incide en la recaudación del impuesto predial, en la Municipalidad Provincial Sánchez Carrión, años 2015 – 2019. El problema respectivo fue ¿En qué medida la cultura tributaria incide en la recaudación del impuesto predial, en la Municipalidad Provincial Sánchez Carrión, años 2015 – 2019?; el diseño de investigación utilizado fue no experimental, de diseño descriptivo transeccional correlacional causal. La población fue 16446 contribuyentes, y la muestra de 375 contribuyentes, a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario; también se utilizó el análisis documental. Como principales resultados, se tuvo que el nivel de cultura tributaria de los contribuyentes es bajo y muy bajo, y los niveles de recaudación tributaria están entre regulares y bajos.
