For which, I prepared Sabouraud Agar containing_x000D_ concentrations of the said essential oil, 0.1, 0.5, 1, 1.5, and 2 μL/mL, respectively,_x000D_ and in addition to the control (0 μL/mL). On this medium was inoculated by puncture_x000D_ central a fragment of mycelium of these fungi in the study, coming from a culture_x000D_ monosporic, was incubated at 25 °C up to 14 days. We performed three replicates_x000D_ in triplicate for each concentration including the control. The reading of mycelial_x000D_ growth was performed in millimeters the diameter from the seventh day of sowing_x000D_ until the fourteenth day, it was found that the essential oil of lemongrass from the_x000D_ concentration including the control._x000D_ The mycelial growth was measured by measuring the diameter of the colony in_x000D_ millimeters from the seventh day of sowing until the fourteenth day, it was found that_x000D_ the essential oil of lemon grass at the concentrations of 0.1, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and_x000D_ 2 μL / mL completely inhibit the growth of the fungi under study. Concluding that the_x000D_ essential oil is a strong growth inhibitor of M. canis and T. rubrum.
