The specific ones are to determine the elements with the greatest presence in the work budgets, determine the costs of production with greater presence and establish the impact of the dimensions of the work budget on the company's production costs. The survey and bibliographic review are used as techniques, its instruments are the survey and registration questionnaires. The population is made up of the construction companies of La Libertad and the sample is the company under study. The results show that work budgets have a significant impact on production costs, with a Pearson correlation of 0.789. There are differences between the budgeted and the real, with respect to the 4 works, the most notable being the one executed in the town of Santiago de Challas, which has a difference of 16.53%. It is inferred that the “construction” dimension of the work budget has a greater relationship with production costs, being significant, and whose correlation with the Pearson coefficient is 0.900, considered strong. It is concluded that the work budgets are significantly related to the production costs of Construcciones & Servicios Dieguito S.A.C. in the city of Trujillo, 2018. Pearson's correlation was 0.789 strong, accepting the research hypothesis.Esta investigación tiene como objetivo general determinar de qué manera los presupuestos de obra repercuten en los costos de producción de la empresa Construcciones & Servicios Dieguito S.A.C., 2018. Los específicos son, determinar los elementos con mayor presencia en los presupuestos de obra, determinar los costos de producción con mayor presencia y establecer la repercusión de las dimensiones del presupuesto de obra en los costos de producción de la empresa. Se utiliza como técnicas la encuesta y revisión bibliográfica, sus instrumentos son los cuestionarios de encuesta y fichaje. La población está constituida por las empresas constructoras de La Libertad y la muestra es la empresa en estudio. Los resultados muestran que los presupuestos de obra repercuten significativamente en los costos de producción, con correlación Pearson de 0,789. Existen diferencias entre lo presupuestado y lo real, respecto a las 4 obras, siendo la más resaltante la ejecutada en la localidad de Santiago de Challas, que tiene una diferencia del 16.53%. Se infiere que la dimensión “construcción” del presupuesto de obra, presenta mayor relación con los costos de producción, siendo significativa, y cuya correlación con coeficiente Pearson es de 0,900, considerada fuerte. Se concluye que los presupuestos de obra se relacionan de manera significativa con los costos de producción de Construcciones & Servicios Dieguito S.A.C. en la ciudad de Trujillo, 2018.
