Se realizó con la finalidad de caracterizar a los vacunos de leche en la ganadería “San Pablo”; utilizándose un total de 62 vacunos, mediante una investigación descriptiva de datos registrados hacia el año 2018. Los parámetros evaluados más están referidos a la, fenotípica y los índices productivos y reproductivos del ganado lechero, así como calcular el peso, raza y los costos económicos y contables de la inversión. Se establecieron grupos contemporáneos de vacas Holstein y se compararon entre los individuos de la población general y en cada grupo de edad. Las vacas fueron pesadas y medidas bovino métricamente y linealmente para la caracterización respectiva. Se concluye que el ganado lechero de la ganadería “San Pablo” se caracteriza por ser una población de vacunos regularmente mejorada en sus distintas caracterizaciones zootécnicas.ABSTRACT The present study: Zootechnical Characterization of the milk cattle in the cattle ranch "San Pablo" S.A.C., Paijan. It was carried out with the purpose of characterizing the milk cattle in the "San Pablo" cattle ranch; a total of 62 specimens are used, through a retrospective descriptive investigation of data registered around 2018. The parameters evaluated are related to the zoometric, phenotypic and productive and reproductive indexes of dairy cattle, as well as to calculate the weight, length and the economic and accounting costs of the investment. Contemporary groups of Holstein cows were established and compared between individuals in the general population and in each age group. The cows were weighed and measured bovine metrically and linearly for the respective characterization.
