Se aplicó el enfoque cuantitativo y la investigación es de tipo aplicada. La población estuvo constituida por 147 estudiantes y la muestra estuvo compuesta por 30 estudiantes de tercer grado de secundaria, sección A, la misma que fue seleccionada mediante un muestreo no probabilístico a criterio del investigador. El diseño empleado fue preexperimental con un grupo de aplicación de pre y posprueba. Los resultados evidencian que 1) El nivel de conciencia medioambiental dimensiones: conocimientos, estrategias y actitudes, según la preprueba, es regular, 2) El nivel de conciencia medioambiental dimensiones: conocimientos, estrategias y actitudes, según la posprueba, es bueno, 3) Hay una diferencia significativa entre las puntuaciones obtenidas a priori y a posteriori de administrar el programa vida ecoeficiente en la mejora de la conciencia medioambiental de educandos del Centro de Enseñanza Artemio del Solar Icochea de Santa. La investigación concluye que el programa de vida ecoeficiente mejora significativamente la conciencia medioambiental en educandos del Centro de Enseñanza Artemio del Solar Icochea de Santa.The objective of the research was to determine the impact of the eco-efficient living program on improving environmental awareness in third-year secondary education students of the Artemio del Solar Educational Institution in the district of Santa, year 2021. The quantitative approach was applied and The research is applied. The population was made up of 147 students and the sample was made up of 30 third-grade high school students, section A, which was selected through non-probabilistic sampling at the discretion of the researcher. The design used was pre-experimental with a pre- and posttest application group.
