In turn, for the realization of this research work, it has been arranged that all the components used are free software, this in order to reduce costs to a minimum. It aims to “Provide an improvement in the registration and delivery of medical diagnostic imaging that facilitates patients to quickly obtain a result through an efficient and reliable tool in decision making at the Clinic Tomonorte of the city of Chepén”. For the development of the information system, it was decided to use the RUP (Rational Unified Process) methodology, which guarantees the development of high quality software. The Object Oriented paradigm will also be followed, with which it is sought to obtain an efficient and elaborated database model, taking into account the principles of standardization and Relationship Entity models.El presente tema de investigación titulado: “Aplicación Web y la mejora en el registro y entrega de diagnósticos médicos por imágenes de la Clínica Tomonorte S.A de Chepén” ha sido desarrollado con la finalidad de demostrar que se puede disminuir los tiempos de registro de citas y entrega de diagnósticos médicos por imágenes a través de un servicio a domicilio o la rápida obtención de sus resultados con alertas de mensajes de textos, por consiguiente, generando una gran ayuda de la empresa hacia sus pacientes. A su vez para la realización del presente trabajo de investigación se ha dispuesto que la totalidad de los componentes utilizados sean de software libre, esto con el fin de reducir los costos al mínimo. Se tiene como objetivo “Proporcionar una mejora en el registro y entrega de diagnósticos médicos por imágenes que facilite a los pacientes en obtener rápidamente un resultado a través de una herramienta eficaz y confiable en la toma de decisiones en la Clínica Tomonorte S.A de la cuidad de Chepén”. Para el desarrollo del sistema de información se ha optado por usar la metodología RUP (Rational Unified Process), que garantiza la elaboración de un software de alta calidad.
