The purpose of this research is to determine the benefits of breastfeeding in the integral development of children under 2 years, since there is an evident relationship in breast milk with the nutritional elements that it possesses strengthens the psychomotor development of language, social emotional and cognitive. The benefits of breastfeeding are based on the components it contains; These are both for the mother and for children under 2 years old, starting from birth to 2 years of age, both to meet their nutritional needs; and, at the same time, for their proportionally combined macro and micro nutrients that influence the different areas of integral development, demonstrating better intellectual, behavioral and sensory performances in pre-school, school and adolescents who were breastfed in early childhood. Apart from that, it creates a unique bond between the mother and the child. Breastfeeding influences the different areas of the integral development of children under 2 years old. Because it is easily absorbed, it takes full advantage of all its nutrients, contributing more effectively to the child's physical, intellectual and psychosocial development. It can also be said that, breastfed children are more active, presenting a better psychomotor development, a better learning ability, with a higher IQ and fewer language disorders. In the emotional - social area, attachment stands out as it is an affective bond that guarantees adequate development through a process of physiological, emotional and neuroendocrine regulation. Educational material was expanded and compiled as a strategy to raise awareness of the benefits of breastfeeding in the integral development of children under 2 years of age for both the family; and, for our specialists who are the ones who will be better able to provide and properly manage the information since they will internalize the benefits that breastfeeding has in the integral development of our children.El presente trabajo está fundamentado de manera teórica a través de la información obtenida de autores especializados en el tema de investigación; lo cual fue importante para la elaboración de dicho trabajo. El propósito de esta investigación es determinar los beneficios de la lactancia materna en el desarrollo integral de los niños menores de 2 años, ya que existe una relación evidente de que la leche materna con sus elementos nutritivos que posee fortalece el desarrollo psicomotor, del lenguaje, social afectivo y cognitivo. Los beneficios que tiene la lactancia materna se fundamentan en los componentes que contiene; éstos son tanto para la madre como para los niños menores de 2 años, se inicia desde el nacimiento hasta los 2 años de vida, tanto para satisfacer sus necesidades nutricionales; y, al mismo tiempo, por sus macro y micro nutrientes proporcionalmente combinados que influyen en las diferentes áreas del desarrollo integral, demostrando mejores rendimientos intelectuales, conductuales y sensoriales en los pre-escolares, escolares y adolescentes que fueron amamantados en la primera infancia. A parte de ello, crea un lazo único entre la madre y el niño. La lactancia materna influye en las diferentes áreas del desarrollo integral del niño menor de 2 años. Por ser de fácil absorción, se aprovecha al máximo todos sus nutrientes, contribuyendo con mayor efectividad al desarrollo físico, intelectual y psicosocial del niño. Se puede decir también que, los niños amamantados son más activos, presentando un mejor desarrollo psicomotor, una mejor capacidad de aprendizaje, con un mayor coeficiente intelectual y menos trastornos de lenguaje. En la área social y afectiva, resalta el apego que ayuda a organizar los patrones sensoriales y sentidos; garantizando el desarrollo adecuado a través de un proceso de regulación fisiológica, emocional y neuroendocrina.
