For which the electronic registry of female patients with rheumatoid arthritis was requested, said information is registered in the Her Mis system. For which the corresponding permission was requested to carry out the study in the aforementioned Hospital, sending a request addressed to the director for her attention. Once the database of the aforementioned program has been reviewed. The woman with rheumatoid arthritis was located, making a list, verifying that they met the selection criteria until completing the sample size, considering four controls for each case. In the same way, the control group was selected. Once the sampling is done, the data was transcribed to the data collection sheet prepared for this purpose. The file consists of three parts, the first collects general data, the second part collects data on the study dependent variables, which is the presence or absence of rheumatoid arthritis. The third part collects information about the use of the oral hormonal contraceptive. The variables were studied: rheumatoid arthritis and use of oral contraceptives. Within the analysis and interpretation of the information, the information processing was carried out using a computer that contains the statistical package IBM SPSS version 23.0. The absolute and relative frequencies (percentages) were taken into account, shown in tetrachoric tables according to the specific objectives proposed in this study. For the analysis, the Chi square statistical test was applied to determine the relationship through the association or independence of the variables under study, considering p <0.05 as significant and p <0.01 highly significant. Likewise, the Odds ratio association test was applied, with its 95% confidence interval. To carry out the project, the international recommendations established in the Declaration of Helsinki II were taken into account, which has as a basic principle that the research that It involves human beings must be conducted only by scientifically qualified persons and under the supervision of a doctor, taking into account the publication, the doctor is obliged to preserve its veracity, maintaining the anonymity of the investigated patients at all times. 01 highly significant.
