The problems of identifying environmental contamination, damage the productive activity of the business generating difficulties in the productivity of the workers, reason by which, since the Area of Constructions and Naval Repairs of the Division Astillero, the Application of a Program of Environmental Management is presented that will be of technical instrument to improve the levels of productivity, having like base the I diagnose situacional environmental of the business. The investigation and the development of the thesis was achieved thanks to the contribution of the workers and of the studies acquired during my university career.El presente trabajo de investigación ha tenido como objetivo principal demostrar desde un enfoque ambiental la mejora en el nivel de productividad del Área de Construcciones y Reparaciones Navales del Servicio Industrial de la Marina Chimbote. Los problemas de contaminación ambiental identificados, perjudican la actividad productiva de la empresa generando dificultades en la productividad de los trabajadores, razón por la cual, desde el Área de Construcciones y Reparaciones Navales de la División Astillero, se plantea la Aplicación de un Programa de Gestión Ambiental que será de instrumento técnico para mejorar los niveles de productividad, teniendo como base el diagnóstico situacional ambiental de la empresa.
