The sample universe was 80 adolescents, for data collection 3 instruments were used: the level of self-esteem with the Rosenberg scale; family functionality with the APGAR questionnaire; and the level of risk perception with the questionnaire of perception of risk of pregnancy in adolescents. Kendall's Tau b and c test was used to analyze the relationship between variables. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between the level of self-esteem and the perception of risk of pregnancy (Kendall's Tau b 0.958); likewise family functionality and perception of pregnancy risk (Kendall's Tau c 0.798). In relation to self-esteem we have an average 68.8%; 22.5% high; and 8.8% with leave. In family functionality, 71.2% have family dysfunction and 28.8% have good family functionality. Regarding the level of perception of risk, we find that 66.3% medium level, 23.8% high level; and 10% low level.La presente investigación tipo cuantitativa, correlacional, de corte transversal, tuvo como propósito determinar la relación entre el nivel de autoestima y funcionalidad familiar con la percepción de riesgo de embarazo en adolescentes de la I.E. 82115 “José Faustino Sánchez Carrión” - Huamachuco ubicado en una zona andina. El universo muestral fue de 80 adolescentes, para la recolección de datos se utilizaron 3 instrumentos: el nivel de autoestima con la escala de Rosenberg; la funcionalidad familiar con el cuestionario APGAR; y el nivel de percepción de riesgo con el cuestionario de percepción de riesgo de embarazo en adolescentes. Para el análisis de la relación entre variables se utilizó la prueba Tau b y c de Kendall. Se concluye que existe relación significativa entre nivel de autoestima y percepción de riesgo de embarazo (Tau b de Kendall 0.958); asimismo, funcionalidad familiar y percepción de riesgo de embarazo (Tau c de Kendall 0.798). En relación con la autoestima tenemos 68,8% media; 22,5% alta; y 8,8% con baja. En la funcionalidad familiar 71,2% tienen disfunción familiar y 28,8% con buena funcionalidad familiar.
