A total of 96 semi-structured interviews were applied to the residents of the Víctor Larco district, to gather information regarding common name, part used, type of preparation, method of application, medicinal uses, use report (RU) and index of use value (IVU). In parallel, the collection, drying, assembly, and labeling of the specimens was carried out; for its taxonomic determination. 50 species of plants of ethnomedicinal use are reported in the district of Víctor Larco, Trujillo, La Libertad, Peru; distributed in 46 genera and 30 families, of which they stand out for the number of species: Asteraceae (7), Lamiaceae (4), Fabaceae (3), Liliaceae (3), and Rutaceae (3). The species with the highest Use Value Index (IVU): Linum usitatissimum L. (0.46), Cymbopogon citratus (DC.) Stapf (0.46), Citrus limon (L.) Osbeck (0.43), Aloe vera (L.) Burm.f. (0.42), Solanum tuberosum L. (0.41), Hordeum vulgare L. (0.40) and Morinda citrifolia L. (0.40)Esta investigación se avocó a la determinación la Flora Etnomedicinal del Distrito de Víctor Larco, Trujillo, La Libertad, Perú, y así revalorar el saber ancestral etnobotánico en este distrito. Se aplicaron un total de 96 entrevistas semi - estructuradas a los pobladores del distrito de Víctor Larco, para recabar información respecto a nombre común, parte utilizada, tipo de preparación, modo de aplicación, usos medicinales, reporte de uso (RU) y el índice de valor de uso (IVU). Paralelamente se realizó la colecta, secado, montado, y etiquetado de los especímenes; para su determinación taxonómica. Se reportan 50 especies de plantas de uso etnomedicinal en el distrito de Víctor Larco, Trujillo, La Libertad, Perú; distribuidas en 46 géneros y 30 familias, de las que destacan por el número de especies: Asteraceae (7), Lamiaceae (4), Fabaceae (3), Liliaceae (3), y Rutaceae (3).
