This system basically consisted of a contract between two people, in which was the feudal lord, who owned the land and the peasant or vassal, who was the one who worked the lands of the feudal lord in exchange for protection and food for him and his family. The feudal lord had an obligation to protect the vassals in his charge and to provide him with what was necessary to survive him._x000D_ The land was called as a fiefdom and the nobleman who owned this land or fiefdom was called feudal; the feudal lord during the Middle Ages the land was the economic base of Europe. The Society of this time was theocentric, there was The Church and God at the center of everything and they possessed the maximum power in feudal society. This new system did not favor the peasants, as the nobles took advantage of their power to exploit the peasants who lived in the lands they had in their possession.En un tiempo determinado Europa paso de la Edad Antigua a la Edad Media, en esta etapa se produjo una debilidad general de los reyes y tuvieron que compartir su poder con los nobles, por lo cual se dio muchos cambios en el sistema: pol�tico, econ�mico y social. Este sistema consist�a b�sicamente como un contrato entre dos personas, en la cual estaba el se�or feudal, que era el due�o de las tierras y el campesino o vasallo, que era quien trabajaba las tierras del se�or feudal a cambio de protecci�n y comida para �l y su familia. El se�or feudal, ten�a la obligaci�n de proteger a los vasallos que estaban a su cargo y brindarle lo necesario para su sobrevivir._x000D_ La tierra fue denominada como feudo y el noble que pose�a esta tierra o feudo se le denomino feudal; el se�or feudal durante la edad media la tierra era la base econ�mica de Europa. La Sociedad de esta �poca era teoc�ntrica, estaba La Iglesia y Dios como centro de todo y pose�an el m�ximo poder en la sociedad feudal.
