The sample consisted of a total of 165 parents, 22 male (13.3%) and 143 female (86.7%), of which 26 (15.8%) had a primary education degree, 73 (44.2 %) degree of secondary education and 66 (40%) degree of technical instruction and/or higher. It was found that the level of knowledge about children's oral health in parents of children treated at Ascope´s Hospital - 2022 was 46.7% with the "regular" level, 26.3% with the "good" level, 19.4% with the "good" level. bad” and 10.3% with the “very good” level. La muestra estuvo constituida por un total de 165 padres de familia, 22 de género masculino (13.3%) y 143 de género femenino (86,7%), de los cuales 26 (15.8%) presentan grado de instrucción primaria, 73 (44.2%) grado de instrucción secundaria y 66 (40%) grado de instrucción técnica y/o superior. Se encontró que, el nivel de conocimientos sobre salud bucal infantil en padres de niños atendidos en el Hospital de Ascope - 2022 fue de 46.7% con el nivel “regular”, 26.3% con el nivel “bueno”, 19.4% con el nivel “malo” y 10.3% con el nivel “muy bueno”.
