Materiales y métodos: A una muestra total de 66 estudiantes de la Facultad de Estomatología de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo se les aplicó unos cuestionarios – encuestas destinadas a determinar el nivel de conocimiento de ergonomía Odontológica y la sensación de dolor postural que presentan. Resultados: El nivel de conocimiento de Ergonomía Odontológica de los alumnos de cuarto, quinto y sexto año fue de: 53.03% con nivel “Malo”, 43.94% “Regular” y 3.03% “Bueno” (Tabla 01). La Sensación de Dolor Postural de los alumnos de cuarto, quinto y sexto año fue de: 51.51% “Regular”, 25.76% “Bajo” y 22.73% “Alto” (Tabla 02). En relación del Nivel de Conocimiento de Ergonomía Odontológica y Sensación de dolor postural en los alumnos de cuarto, quinto y sexto años fue: de los que tenían un nivel de conocimiento de ergonomía odontológica “Malo” tenían sensación de dolor postural “Regular” con 54.29%, “Bajo” con 25.71% y “Alto” con 20%; los que tenían un nivel de conocimiento de ergonomía odontológica “Regular” tenían sensación de dolor postural “Regular” con 48.27%, “Alto” con 27.59% y “Bajo” con 24.14%; los que tenían un conocimiento de ergonomía “Bueno” tenían sensación de dolor postural “Bajo” con 50%, “Regular” con 50% y “Alto” con 0%. Al relacionar Nivel de Conocimiento de Ergonomía Odontológica y Sensación de Dolor Postural en los alumnos de cuarto, quinto y sexto año se encontró que no hay relación estadísticamente significativa (p>0.05). (Tabla 03). Conclusiones: Respecto a la relación del nivel de conocimientos de ergonomía odontológica y sensación de dolor postural de los alumnos de cuarto, quinto y sexto año de la Facultad de Estomatología de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, no se encontró estadísticamente significativa (p>0.05). El nivel de conocimiento de ergonomía odontológica de los alumnos de cuarto, quinto y sexto año de la Facultad de Estomatología de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo en el año 2018 fue “Malo”. La sensación de dolor postural de los alumnos de cuarto, quinto y sexto año de la Facultad de Estomatología de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo en el año 2018 fue “Regular”Objective: To determine the relationship of the level of knowledge of dental ergonomics and sensation of postural pain of the fourth, fifth and sixth year students of the Faculty of Stomatology of the National University of Trujillo. In relation to the Level of Knowledge of Dental Ergonomics and Sensation of postural pain in the fourth, fifth and sixth year students was: of those who had a level of knowledge of dental ergonomics "Bad" had a "Regular" postural pain sensation with 54.29 %, "Low" with 25.71% and "High" with 20%; those with a level of knowledge of "Regular" dental ergonomics had "Regular" postural pain sensation with 48.27%, "High" with 27.59% and "Low" with 24.14%; those who had an ergonomics knowledge "Good" had feeling of postural pain "Low" with 50%, "Regular" with 50% and "High" with 0%. When relating the Level of Knowledge of Dental Ergonomics and found that there is no statistically significant relationship (p> 0.05). (Table 03). Conclusions: Regarding the relationship of the level of knowledge of dental ergonomics and sensation of postural pain of the fourth, fifth and sixth year students of the Faculty of Stomatology of the National University of Trujillo, it was not found statistically significant (p> 0.05) .
