By: Bachelor RODRÍGUEZ CHÁVEZ, Juan Carlos This thesis was developed doing an appropriate use of the information technologies, presenting a proposal for improving the Management of the Directorate of Supplying of the Provincial Municipality of Utcubamba. The methodology used for the development of Web Information System was the Extreme Programming Methodology (XP), which allowed us to make the Project more quickly without reducing quality of it, achieving a simple model and adaptable to changing and demanding characteristics of the Provincial Municipality of Utcubamba. On the other hand, have been used web technologies like Javascript, PHP, Ajax and others free software tools for the development of Web Information System. Fundamentals and techniques of OOP was used for the development of the information system, which allows to make the system maintenance more easily and promoting code reuse. The architecture consists of three layers communicate with each other, ensuring the scalability of the system. The proposed system has reduced the time to generate documents such as requirements in 3.98 minutes (50.44%), quotations and/or selection process of quotations in 3.52 minutes (49.93%), purchase order and/or service in 3.54 minutes (44.93%) and request supporting output document in 3.05 minutes (40.24%); at the same time reduce the processing time management reports on 18.06 minutes (99.11%), reducing the processing time of performance indicators in 20.23 minutes (99.12%) and increase the level of user satisfaction in 1.35 (37.75%).SISTEMA DE INFORMACION WEB PARA LA MEJORA DE LA GESTIÓN DE LA SUBGERENCIA DE ABASTECIMIENTO DE LA MUNICIPALIDAD PROVINCIAL DE UTCUBAMBA. RODRÍGUEZ CHÁVEZ, Juan Carlos La presente tesis fue desarrollada haciendo uso adecuado de las tecnologías de información, presentando así una propuesta para mejorar la Gestión de la Subgerencia de Abastecimiento de la Municipalidad Provincial de Utcubamba. La metodología utilizada para el desarrollo del sistema de información web fue la Programación Extrema (XP), la cual permitió realizar el proyecto de forma más rápida sin disminuir la calidad del mismo, logrando así un modelo sencillo y adaptable a las características cambiantes y exigentes de este órgano de gobierno. Por otro lado, se ha utilizado tecnologías web como JavaScript, PHP, Ajax y otras herramientas de software libre para el desarrollo del sistema de información web. Se han utilizado fundamentos y técnicas de programación orientada objetos para el desarrollo del sistema de información web, lo cual nos permite realizar el mantenimiento más sencillo y a la vez promover la reutilización de código. La arquitectura está formada por 3 capas que se comunican entre sí, asegurando la escalabilidad del sistema.
