The Methodology was of tipe "Observational", "analytical", "retrospective" and "transversal" type research, with " non-experimental design”. For this, the reports of the analysis of the results of the 1416 patients on the rapid HBsAg test were used, which is a chromatographic type immunoassay presenting a lateral flow in the qualitative determination of the hepatitis B surface antigen (BsAg) in the serum. or plasma at a level greater than or equal to 1ng/ml. The seroprevalence of Hepatitis B of the sociodemographic variables in pregnant women diagnosed with Hepatitis B predominate in the mixed race (1.59%), university students (2.68%), normal weight (1.59%), and the socioeconomic stratum 6 (2.58%). Likewise, the seroprevalence of Hepatitis B of age groups where those corresponding to the age group of 15 to 24 years predominate with 1.75%. The seroprevalence of the serological marker of the hepatitis B surface antigen in pregnant women in the "Contingency Hospital" of Tingo María, was 1.41%, being epidemiologically low.Se determinó la seroprevalencia de Hepatitis B en gestantes atendidas en el “Hospital de Contingencia” de Tingo María, Huánuco, 2021. Se siguió la metodología de Investigación de tipo “observacional”, “analítico”, “retrospectivo” y “transversal”, con “diseño no experimental”. Se utilizó para ello los reportes de los análisis de resultados de las 1416 pacientes sobre la prueba rápida HBsAg, que es un inmunoensayo del tipo cromatográfico presentando un flujo lateral en la determinación cualitativa del antígeno de superficie de la hepatitis B (BsAg) en el suero o plasma a un nivel mayor o igual a 1ng/ml. La seroprevalencia de Hepatitis B de las variables sociodemográficas en gestantes con diagnóstico de Hepatitis B predomina en la raza mestiza (1,59%), estudiantes universitarios (2,68%), normo peso (1,59%), y, el estrato socioeconómico 6 (2,58%). Asimismo, la seroprevalencia de Hepatitis B de grupos etario donde se predomina los correspondientes a grupo etario de 15 a 24 años con 1,75%. la seroprevalencia del marcador serológico del Antígeno de superficie de hepatitis B en las gestantes en el “Hospital de Contingencia” de Tingo María, fue de 1.41% siendo epidemiológicamente baja.spainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessHepatitis BGestantesHuánucoTingo MaríaSeroprevalenciainfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesis
