The sample was consisted by 61 patients who receive hemodialysis treatment. For the collection of data, two instruments were used: one to determine the degree of family support and the other one to determine anxiety level. The statistical test used was Pearson. The results were obtained in frames and graphics with percentage frequencies and for the statistical analysis were applied “Chi-squared” that measures the relationship between two variables. According to the results, the following conclusions were reached: The 73.8% of patients subjected to hemodialysis refer a high-degree of family support and 62.3% of patients present a level of mild anxiety. Which is highly meaning among related variables with chi-squared of 31.983 (p=0.000) (p≤0.05)La presente investigación descriptiva correlacional se realizó con el objetivo de establecer la relación entre el Apoyo Familiar y Nivel de Ansiedad del paciente sometido a hemodiálisis en la clínica Virgen de la Puerta-Trujillo. La muestra estuvo constituida por 61 pacientes que reciben tratamiento de hemodiálisis. Para la recolección de datos se aplicaron dos instrumentos: uno para determinar el grado de apoyo familiar y otro para el nivel de ansiedad. La prueba estadística utilizada fue de Pearson. Los resultados se obtuvieron en tablas y gráficos con frecuencias porcentuales y para el análisis estadístico se aplicó el “Chi - cuadrado” que mide la relación entre las dos variables. De acuerdo a los resultados se llegó a las siguientes conclusiones: el 73.8 % de pacientes sometido a hemodiálisis refieren un alto grado de apoyo familiar y 62.3% de pacientes presentaron un nivel de ansiedad leve.
