National University of Trujillo-2019 ” Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about the Enamel Defects by the Students of the Faculty of Stomatology of the National University of Trujillo-2019 Methodology: The present observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study. Material and method: The sample consisted of a total of 64 students, 37 female (57.81%) and 27 male (42.19%); of which 19 students correspond to the fourth year (29.69%), 25 students correspond to the fifth year (39.06%) and 20 students correspond to the sixth year (31.25%). To those who applied a survey-questionnaire validated an expert judgment. Results: The level of knowledge about enamel defects in fourth year students was "Regular", fifth year "Regular" and sixth year "Regular", which does not determine a significant statistical relationship. Material y método: La muestra estuvo constituida por un total de 64 estudiantes, 37 de género femenino (57,81%) y 27 de género masculino (42,19%); de los cuales 19 estudiantes corresponden al cuarto año (29,69%), 25 estudiantes corresponden al quinto año (39,06%) y 20 estudiantes corresponden al sexto año (31,25%). A quienes se les aplico una encuesta- cuestionario validada a juicio de experto. Resultados: El Nivel de conocimiento sobre defectos del esmalte en estudiantes de cuarto año fue “Regular”, de quinto año “Regular” y sexto año “Regular”, lo cual no determino una relación estadística significativa. Conclusiones: Los estudiantes de Estomatología presentan un nivel de conocimientos sobre los defectos del esmalte predominantemente “Regular”.
