El desarrollo de la gran textilería pre-hispánica, se sustenta en el tipo de fibra usada y también en las terminaciones de la torsión (S y Z), tanto en el hilado de algodón y lana que indica la diferenciación de los tributantes. También podemos decir que los especialistas estaban al servicio de la élite eran personas de mucha confianza por su condición cercana al poder. El uso de los tintes, demuestra que hubo una diferenciación social, en el caso del uso de la cochinilla se asocia con el uso de las clases altas, en comparación con el achiote asociada a la clase media, siendo probable que los colores sea un indicador del carácter sagrado.ABSTRACT The appearance of textile specialists can be determined from the analysis of the fabrics that are the subject of the investigation and that correspond to fifteen fabrics of the Chimu culture. The development of the great pre-Hispanic textile industry is based on the type of fiber used and also on the twist endings (S and Z), both in the cotton and wool yarn that indicates the differentiation of the tributants.
