Asimismo, los métodos que se emplearon fueron: inductivo – deductivo, analítico – sintético, estadístico y etnográfico; las técnicas empleadas fueron la entrevista y la encuesta presentes a través de instrumentos como la guía de entrevista, el registro de entrevista y el cuestionario. En base a los resultados obtenidos producto de la presente tesis, se concluyó que la separación conyugal influye de manera negativa en el desarrollo social de los adolescentes atendidos en Defensoría Municipal del Niño, Niña y Adolescente, El Porvenir, puesto que genera rechazo hacia el cumplimiento de normas sociales, como la práctica de conductas disruptivas y la pertenencia a grupos que realizan disturbios o actos vandálicos; y produce una relación distante y conflictiva entre el adolescente y sus progenitores, así como aumenta el riesgo de consumir sustancias psicoactivas.ABSTRACT The objective of this thesis is to analyze the influence of marital separation on the social development of adolescents served at the Defensoría Municipal del Niño, Niña y Adolescente, El Porvenir, 2022, with a total population of 70 users, mothers of adolescents served at the Defensoría Municipal del Niño, Niña y Adolescente, El Porvenir. Likewise, the methods used were: inductive – deductive, analytical – synthetic, statistical and ethnographic. The techniques used were the interview and the survey presented through instruments such as the interview guide, the interview record and the questionnaire.
