La universidad nacional de Trujillo, anteriormente, poseía dualidad de sistemas de información web, los cuales se caracterizaban por su complementariedad intrínseca en la gestión de trámites, sin embargo, no era suficiente debido a que dichos sistemas no hacían uso de las herramientas ideales para un adecuado cumplimiento de las labores, además, solo abarcaban pocos procesos tales como los procesos de certificación, graduación y titulación. Al no contar con un único sistema integrado que abarque todos los procesos, se ocasionaba altos tiempos en el registro de datos de diploma en los libros de grados y títulos académicos, así como también en la generación de reportes, lo que concluía en la insatisfacción del personal del área administrativa. Debido a la problemática presentada, se propuso como solución la implementación de un sistema de información web para agilizar la gestión de trámites, utilizando la metodología RUP (Proceso Unificado de Rational) y tecnologías web como PHP para el backend, TypeScript para el frontend y MySQL para la base de datos. Finalmente, después de un largo proceso de desarrollo, se concluyó que con la implementación del sistema de información web se logró reducir el tiempo de registro de datos de diploma en los libros de grados y títulos académicos en un 99.96%, el tiempo de generación de reportes en un 96.63% y aumentar el nivel satisfacción del personal en el área administrativa en un 79.40%.In this research entitled "Web information system to streamline the management of procedures at the National University of Trujillo", the process of design, creation and implementation of a web information system to streamline the management of procedures that involve the graduation and degree processes, certification and issuance of university cards of the National University of Trujillo. The national university of Trujillo previously had dual web information systems, which were characterized by their intrinsic complementarity in the management of procedures; however, it was not sufficient because these systems did not make use of the ideal tools for an adequate fulfillment of the tasks, in addition, they only covered a few processes such as the certification, graduation and titling processes. By not having a single integrated system that covers all processes, long times were caused in the registration of diploma data in the degree and academic title books, as well as in the generation of reports, which ended in the dissatisfaction of the administrative area staff. Due to the problem presented, the implementation of a web information system was proposed as a solution to streamline the management of procedures, using the RUP (Rational Unified Process) methodology and web technologies such as PHP for the backend, TypeScript for the frontend and MySQL for the database.
