Abstract
La presente investigación, no experimental y descriptiva, correspondiente a la línea de investigación Educación y Ciencias De La Comunicación y Desarrollo Sostenible, tuvo como objetivo describir y explicar la manifestación de los topónimos culle en el castellano del centro poblado Santa Clara de Tulpo, Santiago de Chuco. Se recolectaron datos a partir de entrevistas realizadas a catorce pobladores tomados en una muestra no probabilística. Los datos obtenidos fueron contrastados con información extraída del trabajo de campo exploratorio, para luego someterse a un análisis lingüístico que buscaba encontrar coincidencias entre los nombres recolectados y el corpus culle, vocabulario quechua, aimara y castellano; y así, poder precisar el significado y la motivación de los topónimos. De todo ese proceso se concluyó que la toponimia culle se manifiesta en el castellano de la zona de estudio.
The present research, non-experimental and descriptive, corresponding to the research line Education and Communication Sciences and Sustainable Development, had the objective of describing and explaining the manifestation of Culle toponyms in the Spanish of the town of Santa Clara de Tulpo, Santiago de Chuco. Data were collected from interviews with fourteen villagers taken from a non-probabilistic sample. The data obtained were contrasted with the information extracted from the exploratory fieldwork, and then subjected to a linguistic analysis that sought to find coincidences between the names collected and the culle corpus, the Quechua, Aymara and Spanish vocabulary; and thus, to be able to specify the meaning and motivation of the toponyms. From this process it was concluded that the Culle toponymy is manifested in the Spanish of the study area.
