Acompañamiento familiar y hábito por la lectura en estudiantes del quinto grado de una Institución Educativa – Lima, 2020

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar si existe relación entre acompañamiento familiar y hábito porla lectura en estudiantes del quinto grado de la Institución Educativa N° 1277 “Divino Salvador” - Lima, 2020. El tipo de investigación fue no experimental, con diseño descriptivo correlacional. Se utilizó comoinstrumentos: Para la primera variable Acompañamiento familiar se usó un cuestionario y para la segunda variable Hábito por la lectura se usó una prueba. Se trabajó con una población de 118 estudiantes y una muestra de 20 estudiantes, los datos recopilados fueron procesados en el programa estadístico SPSS 25. Los resultados al ser procesados por el coeficiente de correlación de Tau_b de Kendall emitieron el valor estadístico de p= 0,019; el cual es menor al 5% (0,019 <0,05) evidenciando relación significativa entre las dos variables. Respecto a la primera variable, el 50% de los estudiantes manifiestan tener un nivel medio; en cuanto a la segunda variable, el 70% presentan un nivel medio. Se concluyó que si existe relación significativa entre el acompañamiento familiar y el hábito por la lectura.

The main objective of the present research work was to determine if there is a relationship between family support and reading habit in fifth grade students of the Educational Institution No. 1277 "Divino Salvador" - Lima, 2020. The type of research was non experimental, with descriptive correlational design. It was used as instruments: For the first variable Family support a questionnaire was used and for the second variable Habit for reading a test was used. We worked with a population of 118 students and a sample of 20 students, the data collected were processed in the statistical program SPSS 25. The results, when processed by the correlation coefficient of Kendall's Tau_b, gave the statistical value of p = 0.019; which is less than 5% (0.019 <0.05) showing a significant relationship between the two variables. Regarding the first variable, 50% of the students state that they have a medium level; Regarding the second variable, 70% present a medium level. It was concluded that if there is a significant relationship between family accompaniment and reading habit.
