Item Influencia del porcentaje de reemplazo de ceniza volante por cemento, sobre la resistencia a la compresión y absorción en la fabricación de adoquines de transito liviano(Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, 2016) Barrantes Villanueva, Jorge Alejandro; Holguin Romero, Rita Cristina; Alvarado Quintana, Hernán MartinIn this research the influence of the percentage of fly ash for cement replacement on modified light traffic paving stones for evaluating such influence on the compressive strength and absorption was assessed. The specimens were prepared according to standard NTP 399 611, in total 30 specimens of 20 cm x 10 cm x 4 cm made from sand, cement, water and fly ash is performed. Replacement percentages as used in this investigation were 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50% by weight. The specimens were allowed to cure for 28 days, and then performing compression tests and absorption according to ASTM C109 and ASTM C20 respectively From the results obtained it is determined that with increasing percentage replacement of fly ash cement, the compressive strength is moderately increased to 20% replacement, from there the resistance decays 9% reach 30% fly ash, in terms absorption this property has a direct linear relationship with the increase in the percentage of replacement. Finally it is determined that a paving stone with 20% fly ash replacement creates greater compressive strength is 361.33 kg / cm2 and its absorption percentage 5.32% are inside than specified by the standard NTP 399,611. Concluding that the fly ash has influence on the compressive strength of a concrete paver affecting significantly modified and favorably.
