Materials and methods: The study included a population of 796 panoramic radiographs of patients from 3 to 5 years of age, of whom 438 were male and 358 were female, who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria established. The findings were recorded in the data collection sheet specifying gender, quantity, sextant and dental anomaly. The results were presented in graphs and double entry tables. Results: The data obtained at the end of the study showed that 19 patients of the total presented dental fusion (2.39%) and 9 patients of the total presented dental gemination (1.13%). Of the 358 female patients 4 (1.12%) presented dental gemination, of the 438 male patients 5 (1.14%) presented dental gemination, of the 358 female patients 6 (1.68%) presented dental fusion and of the 438 male patients 13 (2.97%) presented dental fusion. We found 9 cases with unique dental gemination (1.13%), 18 cases with unique dental fusion (2.26%) and 1 case with pair dental fusion (0.13%). Finally, according to the sextant, 6 patients were found with dental gemination in sextant II (0.75%), 3 patients with dental gemination in sextant V (0.38%), 5 patients with dental fusion in sextant II (0.63%). and 14 patients with dental fusion in sextant V (1.76%). Conclusions: A prevalence of 1.13% of dental gemination and 2.39% of dental fusion was found in the population studied. In addition, it was statistically established that there is a significant difference according to the quantity and sextant of the dental fusion, and according to the amount of dental gemination (p <0.05), however, there is no significant difference according to the gender of the dental fusion, and according to gender and sextant of dental gemination (p> 0.05)
