Item La cultura turistica de los pobladores y trabajadores del centro histórico de trujillo como factor de desarrollo turistico(Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, 2014) Garcia Escobedo, Miuler Socrates; Zapata Mendoza, Mercedes ElenaThe thesis in tourism research entitled: The inhabitants and workers’ Touristic culture of the historic center of Trujillo as a factor for the Development of Tourism has as a purpose to publicize the touristic cultural of the residents and workers in the historic center of Trujillo and its contribution to the strengthening of the development of tourism in Trujillo. The research identifies the degree of knowledge of the local residents and workers of the historic center of Trujillo on heritage tourism that account the city; it also analyzes how these knowledge favor the development of tourism. It also describes the actions and attitudes of the residents and workers of the historic center of Trujillo against the needs and requirements of the tourists who seek some type of aid, discusses how the actions and attitudes of the local population can influence positively or negatively in the development of tourism. Finally, it identifies the most common services that ask for the tourists in the historic center of Trujillo, and the attitude of the workers in front of the tourist requirements, analyze the quality of the services and the workers’ touristic culture as factors that affect the development of tourism, additionally describes the perception of the tourists with respect to touristic culture of the settlers and workers of the historic center of Trujillo. For the development of the research has made use of the ethnographic method, which allowed to describe the touristic culture of study population, with the help of the analytical synthetic method has analyzed the data collected in the stage of field which allowed determine whether the residents and workers have touristic culture and how this affects the development of tourism.
