    Asociación Entre Obesidad Y Huella Plantar Aplanada En Niños De 6 A 12 Años

    Objective: Establish the association between Obesity and Flattened Plantar Footprint in children 6 to 12 years. Material and methods: Descriptive transversal study that evaluated children 6 to 12 years of IE "Generalísimo José de San Martín", during 2015. Were classified in children with obesity and without obesity, according to the tables of BMI for age of WHO, and classified in children with flattened plantar footprint and without flattened plantar footprint, according to the method Hernandez-Corvo. Results:It was found that 42.11% of obese children had flattened plantar footprint, alsoa X2 of 4.27 (with a confidence level of 95%, α = 0.05) and an OR of 2.11 (CI 1.03 4.33), indicating a significant association. Conclusion:There is anstatistically significant association between Obesity and Flattened Plantar Footprint, according to the method Hernandez-Corvo, in children 6 to 12 years of IE "Generalísimo José de San Martín" during 2015.

    Cérvix corto como factor asociado a parto vaginal en embarazo a término tardío en el Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray - Trujillo

    La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar si el cérvix corto es un factor asociado a parto vaginal en embarazo a término tardío en el Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray – Trujillo, para lo que se realizó un estudio de tipo observacional, analítico, cohorte, prospectivo. Cada grupo estuvo conformado por 76 gestantes con embarazo a término tardío hospitalizadas en el Servicio de Gineco-obstetricia del Hospital Víctor Lazarte Echegaray – Trujillo, cuyo parto fue atendido entre enero del 2024 a diciembre 2025. Para determinar asociación entre las variables se utilizará la prueba de Chi cuadrado con un intervalo de confianza del 95%.
