Item “programa de motivación basado en la teoría de dos factores para mejorar el desempeño laboral en la caja municipal sullana - sede trujillo”(Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, 2015) López Beltrán, Jholbert Giancarlo; Romero Cribilleros, Edgar NicolasThis research has as principal objective to determine the improvement of job performance at the Municipal Agency of Sullana - Trujillo Headquarters, through the implementation of a motivational program based on a two-factor theory of Frederick Herzberg. The cause variable, also known as independient variable, has the following steps: Diagnosing job performance and motivation in the Caja Municipal Sullana - Trujillo Headquarters, Develop a otivational program based on the two-factor theory, Implementing a motivational program based in the twofactor theory, Analyze the job performance at the Municipal Agency of Sullana - Trujillo Headquarters, after the implementation of the motivational program. An experimental study was done with a pre-experimental research design pre test- post test type with only one group. Two questionnaires were also used, which were applied to thirty (30) employees of the Municipal Agency of Sullana- Headquarters Trujillo, in the case of motivation questionnaire were evaluated nine (9) dimensions or indicators based on the motivating factors and hygiene factors. While in the case of the job performance evaluation, there were considered seven (7) dimensions or indicators (validated in the Sonia Palma questionnaire - 1999), which were assessed before and after the application of the motivational program. A remarkable improvement in job performance was the result of the implementation of the Motivational Program in the following factors: physical working conditions improved by 2%, remunerative benefits by 3%, administrative policies by 5%, labour relations by 2%, personal development by 13%, Development Task by 6% and Relationship to the Authority by 8%. From the investigation results it can be concluded that the application of Motivational Program produces a significant improvement in job performance being of great importance to consider the effect of motivating factors produces lasting satisfaction efects; whereas the maintenance or hygiene factors have a very limited ability to influence the behavior of employees. As explained, although both factors are important for maintaining the employee satisfaction, the motivating factors are which operate mainly to improve job performance.
