Abstract
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo identificar cómo el empoderamiento de la mujer repercute en el desarrollo social de las Juntas Administradoras de Servicios de Saneamiento en el distrito de Poroto, provincia de Trujillo, en el año 2023. El interés por los estudios sobre la importancia de investigar cómo la categoría de género es moldeada por aspectos culturales e históricos, no ha sido ajeno a campos interdisciplinarios como el de las ciencias sociales, entre ellas, la antropología de género señala que la verdadera igualdad en las sociedades no se alcanza mediante la confrontación entre hombres y mujeres, sino más bien cuando ambos se aprecian y se involucran activamente en las responsabilidades que tiene cada uno impulsando el desarrollo social de su comunidad. Por el fin que persigue, este estudio se clasifica como investigación aplicada ya que se centra en abordar una problemática actual y ofrece posibles soluciones para promover el empoderamiento femenino desde una perspectiva intercultural; y en términos de análisis y resultados, se considera de naturaleza explicativa. Las técnicas empleadas incluyen la guía de entrevista, el análisis de documentos y la revisión de registros de la Junta Administradora de Servicios de Saneamiento. Se realizaron entrevistas a mujeres miembros de la Junta Directiva y asociadas. Para el análisis de datos recolectados, se aplicaron métodos como el etnográfico, estadístico, inductivo y el hipotético - deductivo. La muestra la conformaron 20 mujeres usuarias procedentes del Centro Poblado Dos de Mayo y Chile Alto; siendo un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia, considerando la facilidad de acceso, disponibilidad y compromiso de las participantes.
ABSTRACT The objective of this research is to identify how the empowerment of women impacts the social development of the Sanitation Services Administrative Boards in the district of Poroto, province of Trujillo, in the year 2023. The interest in studies on the importance of Investigating how the gender category is shaped by cultural and historical aspects has not been foreign to interdisciplinary fields such as social sciences, among them, gender anthropology points out that true equality in societies is not achieved through confrontation between men and women, but rather when both appreciate each other and are actively involved in the responsibilities that each has in promoting the social development of their community. Due to the purpose it pursues, this study is classified as applied research since it focuses on addressing a current problem and offers possible solutions to promote female empowerment from an intercultural perspective; and in terms of analysis and results, it is considered explanatory in nature. The techniques used include the interview guide, document analysis and review of records from the Sanitation Services Administrative Board. Interviews were conducted with women members of the Board of Directors and associates. For the analysis of collected data, methods such as ethnographic, statistical, inductive and hypothetical-deductive methods were applied. The sample was made up of 20 female users from the Centro Poblado Dos de Mayo and Chile Alto; being a non-probabilistic sampling for convenience, considering the ease of access, availability and commitment of the participants.
