dc.descriptionThe district of Quiruvilca is a former mining site that has about 400 years of operation in mining activities. After the withdrawal of the Mining Company Quiruvilca S.A., informal mining was increased to engage in land extraction activities to be sold by tons. The objective of this research is to identify and assess the environmental impacts caused by these informal mining activities. Indicating that there is a positive impact, due to the existence of labour and labour as a means of livelihood and survival for miners, but more significantly demonstrates that there is more negative impact on physical components, such as air, soil and water, biological, such as in fauna and flora, and social, due to generation of conflicts and complaints of the population through the subprefecture of the district of Quiruvilca, basically in noise contamination by shots with dynamite, as well as the generation of large clearing and excavations that will become environmental liabilities. The identification of impacts generated by informal mining is presented in the action/factor matrix, as well as the assessment of generated impacts was presented in the cause-effect matrix. dc.description.abstractEl distrito de Quiruvilca es un antiguo yacimiento minero que tiene unos 400 años aproximadamente de operación en actividades mineras. Después del retiro de la Empresa Minera Quiruvilca S.A.; se incrementó la minería informal para dedicarse a las actividades de extracción de tierras para ser vendida por toneladas. El objetivo de la presente investigación es identificar y valorar los impactos ambientales ocasionados por estas actividades mineras informales. Indicando que existe impacto positivo, debido a la existencia de trabajo y mano de obra como medio de sustento y supervivencia para los mineros, pero en mayor significancia demuestra que existe más impacto negativo en los componentes físico, tales como aire, suelo y agua, biológico, tal como en la fauna y flora, y social, debido a la generación de conflictos y reclamos de la población a través de la subprefectura del distrito de Quiruvilca, básicamente en contaminación sonora por disparos con dinamita, así como la generación de cuantioso desmonte y excavaciones que se convertirán en pasivos ambientales. La identificación de impactos generados por la minería informal se presenta en la matriz acción/factor, así como la valoración de impactos generados se presentó en la matriz causa-efecto.
