dc.descriptionLa radiación ultravioleta es un tipo de radiación no visible en el espectro solar, su longitud de onda es corta y tiene gran energía; las mediciones de la radiación UV nos señalan el grado de intensidad con que llegan a la superficie terrestre, así tenemos el índice UV que es la relación entre la radiación recibida en la superficie de la atmósfera y la superficie terrestre; la dosis UV es la intensidad de radiación UV por la unidad de tiempo. Estas magnitudes son variables de acuerdo a la ubicación geográfica de la localidad en que se desea hacer un determinado estudio y la estación climatológica. En la ciudad de Trujillo la población se encuentra sometida a los efectos de la radiación ultravioleta, y es del caso conocer como varían el índice UV y la dosis UV en cada estación del año, por ello es de nuestro interés determinar la variación de dichas magnitudes en los años 2011 y 2012; para tal caso se han procesado los datos obtenidos en la estación meteorológica de la UNT, ubicada en uno de los pabellones de la facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas. Después del proceso de los datos, nuestros resultados nos dan a conocer que el índice UV y la dosis UV varían en cada estación y en cada año; así concluimos que en el año 2012 hubo gran actividad solar por lo que el valor del índice UV y la dosis UV muestran valores altos muy diferenciados en relación a los valores alcanzados por estas magnitudes en el año 2011.es_ES
dc.description.abstractUltraviolet radiation is a type of non-visible radiation in the solar spectrum, its wave length is short and has great power; measurements of UV radiation indicate us the degree of intensity with which reach the Earth´s surface, so have the UV index which is the relationship between the radiation received at the surface of the atmosphere and the Earth´s surface; the UV dose is the intensity of UV radiation per unit of time. These figures vary according to the geographical location of the town where you want to make a particular study and the weather station. In the city of Trujillo the population is subjected to the effects of ultraviolet radiation, and is case know how vary the UV index and UV dose in each season of the year, this is in our interest to determine the variation of such magnitude in the years 2011 and 2012; for such cases have been processed data from the meteorological station of the UNT, located in one of the pavilions of the Faculty of physical sciences and mathematics. After the processing of the data, our results give us to know that the UV index and UV dose vary in each season and each year; Thus we conclude that in the year 2012 there were large solar activity so the value of the UV index and UV dose show very different values in relation to the values achieved by these figures in 2011.es_ES
