dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación de tipo descriptivo observacional y transversal, tuvo como propósito determinar la prevalencia de desórdenes temporomandibulares en chacchadores de hoja de coca en la comunidad rondera del distrito de Huamachuco, provincia de Sánchez Carrión, La Libertad, 2016. Esta investigación se realizó empleando el Test de Hélkimo modificado por Maglione para hallar la presencia de los desórdenes temporomandibulares, así mismo su severidad. Fueron evaluados 150 pacientes, entre varones y mujeres, ronderos chacchadores de 25 a 60 años que residen en el distrito de Huamachuco, provincia de Sánchez Carrión, La Libertad. Como resultado final, se encontró que la prevalencia de desórdenes temporomandibulares en los ronderos chacchadores evaluados alcanzó el 100%, por otro lado se halló que un 77.6% de esta población tiene una frecuencia de chacchado altaes_PE
dc.description.abstractThe present research work of descriptive observational and transversal type, was intended to determining the prevalence of temporomandibular disorders in coca leaf chacchadores in the rondera community from Huamachuco district, Sánchez Carrión province, La Libertad, 2016. This investigation was carried out using the Hélkimo Test modified by Maglione to find the presence of the temporomandibular disorders, likewise its severity. Were evaluated 150 patients, between men and women, chacchadores ronderos from 25 to 60 years that reside in Huamachuco district, Sánchez Carrión province, La Libertad. As a final result, it was found that the prevalence of temporomandibular disorders in chacchadores ronderos evaluated achieved the 100%, on the other hand, it was found that a of this population has a frequency of chacchado highes_PE
