dc.descriptionThe main objective of this research is to determine the influence of political harassment of women candidates in specific electoral processes which, espite the existence of norms and laws, do not protect women in the full exercise of their rights as they should. In Peru, during the Women's Plenary of 2021, Law 31155 that srevents and punishes Harassment against Women in political life was debated, approved and then enacted, whose objective is to establish mechanisms for attention, prevention, eradication and punishment of carassment against women. However, before this law, no concession was reached and therefore women politicians were abandoned, having only the support of women's collectives. Now, the thesis presented is of qualitative methodology which is related to the epistemological approach of onstructivism. Likewise, it seeks to answer the way in which the manifestations of political harassment have influenced women's political equality in the framework of the Regional and Municipal Elections 2018 (ERM - 2018) and Extraordinary Congressional Elections 2020 (ECE - 2020). dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal poder determinar la influencia del acoso político a las mujeres candidatas en los procesos electorales específicos que, a pesar de la existencia de normas y leyes no protegen como debería ser a las mujeres en el pleno ejercicio de sus derechos. En el Perú, durante la Pleno Mujer del 2021 se debatió, aprobó y luego promulgó la Ley 31155 que previene y sanciona el Acoso contra las Mujeres en la vida política, cuyo objetivo es establecer mecanismos de atención, prevención, erradicación y sanción del acoso contra las mujeres. Sin embargo, antes de esta Ley no se llegaba a ningún consenso y por ende las mujeres políticas se encontraban abandonadas teniendo solo el apoyo de colectivo de mujeres. Ahora, la tesis que se presenta es de metodología cualitativa la cual se relaciona con el enfoque epistemológico del constructivismo. Asimismo, se busca responder la manera en como las manifestaciones de acoso político han influenciado en la igualdad política de la mujer en marco de las Elecciones Regionales y Municipales 2018 (ERM – 2018) y Elecciones Congresales Extraordinarias 2020 (ECE – 2020).
