dc.description.abstractThis descriptive and cross-sectional study aimed to know the expectations of postgraduate studies in 4th, 5th and 6th year students of Stomatology at the National University of Trujillo 2019. The population under study was made up of 72 Students of the Faculty of Stomatology of the National University of Trujillo 2019, 41 of the female gender and 31 of the male gender who met the inclusion criteria. A measuring instrument was used, in this case a questionnaire-type survey, which is divided into two parts (instructions and structured and unstructured questions) which was evaluated by 8 experts in Cesar Augusto Tapia Vera's research. For the analysis of the information, one and double entry tables were constructed, with their absolute and relative values as well as graphs. The data obtained at the end of the study made us know the expectations of postgraduate study that the surveyed students have, which are: follow academic degree (8.3%), specialty (84.7%) and diplomat (6.9%). According to the academic year, expectations for postgraduate study in fourth-year students were to follow Master's Degree (9.1%), Specialty (72.7%) and Diplomat (18.2%), expectations for postgraduate study in fifth-year students were to follow Master's Degree (3.8%), Specialty (92.3%), and Diplomat (3.8%) and expectations for postgraduate study in sixth year students were to follow Master's Degree (12.5%), Specialty (87.5%) and Diplomat (0%). The greatest interest was in the specialty, obtaining results with a higher percentage in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery 25%, Pediatric Dentistry (12.5%), Periodontics and Implantology (9.7%), Oral Rehabilitation (9.7%), Orthodontics and Maxillary Orthopedics (8.3%), Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry (8.3%), Endodontics (4.2%), Administration and Management in Dentistry (2.8%), Forensic Dentistry (1.4%), Stomatology of Special Patients (1.4%) and Oral Implantology (1.4%). In conclusion, 100% of the students made the decision to carry out postgraduate studies; Could you suggest that the reasons would be to continue with a higher professional and academic level.
dc.description.abstractEste estudio de tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal, tuvo como objetivo conocer las expectativas de estudios de posgrado en los alumnos de 4°,5°y 6° año de Estomatología de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo 2019. La población en estudio estuvo compuesta por 72 alumnos de la Facultad de Estomatología de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo 2019, 41 del género femenino y 31 del género masculino que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Se utilizó un instrumento de medición, en este caso una encuesta tipo cuestionario, que se divide en dos partes (instrucciones y preguntas estructuradas y no estructuradas) que fue evaluada por 8 expertos en la investigación de Cesar Augusto Tapia Vera. Para el análisis de la información se construyeron tablas de una y doble entrada, con sus valores absolutos y relativos además de gráficos. Los datos obtenidos al final del estudio nos hicieron conocer las expectativas de estudios de posgrado que tienen los alumnos encuestados, que son: Seguir un Grado Académico (8.3%), Especialidad (84.7%) y Diplomado (6.9%). Según el año académico, las expectativas de estudios de posgrado en los alumnos de cuarto año fueron: Seguir el título de Maestría (9.1%), Especialidad (72.7%) y Diplomado (18.2%), las expectativas de estudios de posgrado en los alumnos de quinto año fueron: Seguir el título de Maestría (3.8%), Especialidad (92.3 %) y Diplomado (3.8%) y las expectativas de estudios de posgrado en los alumnos de sexto año fueron: Seguir el título de Maestría (12.5%), Especialidad (87.5%) y Diplomado (0%). El mayor interés estuvo en la especialidad, obteniendo resultados con mayor porcentaje en Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial (25%), Odontología Pediátrica (12.5%), Periodoncia e Implantología (9.7%), Rehabilitación Oral (9.7%), Ortodoncia y Ortopedia Maxilar (8.3%), Odontología Restauradora y Estética (8.3 %), Endodoncia (4.2%), Administración y Gestión en Odontología (2.8%), Odontología Forense (1.4%), Estomatología de pacientes especiales (1.4%) e Implantología Oral (1.4%). En conclusión, el 100% de los estudiantes tomaron la decisión de realizar estudios de posgrado; podría darnos a entender que las razones serían continuar con un nivel profesional y académico más alto.es_PE
