dc.description.abstractTitle: "Quality of life and oral health in adolescents of two schools, public and private regime, Trujillo, 2022". Objective: Determine the relationship between quality of life and oral health in adolescents aged 11 and 14 from two schools, public and private, in Trujillo La Libertad in 2022. Methodology: This work is descriptive and cross-sectional. Material and method: The sample consisted of a total of 286 adolescent students, 108 of whom are from the I.E. José Antonio Encinas and 178 from the I.E.P. Claretiano de Trujillo. Results: There is a relationship between the quality of life and oral health in adolescents between 11 and 14 years of two schools, of public and private regime, Trujillo, 2022; finding that adolescents who present a level of regular oral health, 6.3% present regular quality of life, 33.3% good quality of life and 60.3% excellent quality of life; while students who have good oral health, 0.5% have regular quality of life, 14% good quality of life and 85.5% excellent quality of life, as well as a statistically significant relationship was determined being p<0.05 Conclusions: It is concluded that there is a relationship between the quality of life and oral health in adolescents between 11 and 14 years of age from two schools, public and private regime, Trujillo, 2022; evidencing that increasing the level of oral health increases the level of quality of life in students.
dc.description.abstractTítulo: “Calidad de vida y salud oral en adolescentes de dos colegios de Trujillo, 2022”. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la calidad de vida y salud oral en adolescentes de 11 y 14 años de dos colegios, de régimen público y privado, de Trujillo- La Libertad en el año 2022. Metodología: El presente trabajo es de tipo descriptivo y de corte transversal. Material y método: La muestra estuvo constituida por un total de 286 estudiantes adolescentes de dos colegios de Trujillo matriculados en el año 2022, de los cuales: 108 son de la I.E. José Antonio Encinas, y 178 de la I.E.P. Claretiano de Trujillo. Resultados: Se obtuvo que del total de adolescentes que presentan un nivel de salud oral regular: el 6.3% presenta regular calidad de vida, 33.3% buena calidad de vida y el 60.3% excelente calidad de vida; mientras que de los estudiantes que tienen buena salud oral: el 0.5% presentan regular calidad de vida, el 14% buena calidad de vida y el 85.5% excelente calidad de vida. Esto se corroboró con la prueba no paramétrica Chi cuadrado, donde los valores son estadísticamente significativa, p<0.05. Conclusión: Existe relación entre la calidad de vida y salud oral en adolescentes entre 11 y 14 años de dos colegios, de régimen público y privado, Trujillo en el año 2022; evidenciando que al aumentar el nivel de salud oral incrementa el nivel de calidad de vida en los estudiantes.es_PE
