Abstract
El liderazgo constituye un aspecto estratégico e instrumental de mucha importancia, dado que tiene un papel preponderante para promover y consolidar los cambios sociales en general y en particular, en la situación de los adolescentes. Asimismo, debido a la gravedad de problemas sociales que existen, el liderazgo resulta relevante en la conformación y la dinámica de los grupos como motores de cambio en instituciones, organizaciones, proyectos y programas. De igual manera resulta de suma importancia en el desarrollo integral del potencial del individuo. Los adolescentes son importantes en la sociedad, por ser actores sociales potencialmente transformadores. Con una adecuada educación se puede lograr que sean verdaderos actores sociales y, por ende, lograr trascendentes transformaciones de su realidad circundante, es decir de su comunidad. Por lo tanto, al vincularse el liderazgo con la etapa determinante que viven los adolescentes, como el tránsito hacia grados importantes de emancipación y de adopción de un proyecto, se constituye en un gran motor de desarrollo social. Ello aporta en la consolidación de una mayor identidad de los individuos y grupos, y en la construcción colectiva de una proyección de futuro, con un horizonte temporal de largo plazo. En ese aspecto, debido a la actual complejidad de los problemas sociales y la velocidad de cambio de los contextos sociales, el liderazgo es un instrumento básico para producir transformaciones, y prevenir o facilitar la solución de problemas, promoviendo la articulación de diversos grupos hacia objetivos comunes y compartidos hacia la realización de las acciones en beneficio de la comunidad.
ABSTRACT Leadership constitutes a strategic and instrumental aspect of great importance, given its prominent role in promoting and consolidating social changes in general and, in particular, in the situation of adolescents. Furthermore, due to the severity of existing social problems, leadership is crucial in the formation and dynamics of groups as engines of change in institutions, organizations, projects, and programs. Similarly, it is of utmost importance in the comprehensive development of an individual's potential. The adolescents are significant in society, as they are potentially transformative social actors. With proper education, it is possible to ensure that they become true social actors and, consequently, achieve significant transformations in their surrounding reality, that is, their community. Therefore, linking leadership to the critical stage adolescents experience, such as the transition toward significant degrees of emancipation and the adoption of a project, becomes a powerful engine of social development. This contributes to the consolidation of a greater identity for individuals and groups and to the collective construction of a future projection with a long-term temporal horizon. In this regard, due to the current complexity of social problems and the rapid pace of change in social contexts, leadership is a fundamental instrument for producing transformations, and for preventing or facilitating the solution of problems, promoting the articulation of various groups towards common and shared objectives for the benefit of the community.
