    Nivel de concordancia diagnóstica citológica, colposcopica e histológica en lesiones precursoras y malignas de cáncer de cuello uterino, hospital regional docente de Trujillo. Perú 2010-2013

    In order to determine the level of diagnostic agreement cytological, colposcopic and histological precursors and malignant lesions of cervical cancer in the Regional Hospital of Trujillo, Peru 2010 - 2013 medical records of women who had diagnostic studies that were reviewed : cytological, colposcopic and histological. With lesions sampled for the study, the average Kappa statistic was applied. The study sample included 109 patients whose ages ranged between 30-49 years. The results showed moderate agreement between cytology and colposcopy for precursors and malignant lesions of cervical cancer (Kappa: 0.4549), weak correlation between cytology and histology (Kappa: 0.3889) and good agreement between colposcopy and histology (Kappa: 0.6191). The highest percentage of low-grade lesions were reported by 60.6% colposcopy; high-grade lesions greater significance between the different techniques cytology and colposcopy (17.4% vs 12.8% respectively) was not found; malignant cervical lesions (cancer) the highest percentage of cases was diagnosed by colposcopy (18.3%). It was also identified that improved the correlation between colposcopy and histology for precursors and malignant lesions of cervical cancer as advanced age and was higher in more than 40 years (0.6853) against (0.2069) in the 20 to 39 years old.
